About us
About Pueblo Heating & Air
A simple way for folks in Pueblo County to reach a local HVAC technician. They know our heat, our cold nights and our old homes.
Quick answer
Pueblo Heating & Air is a referral service. When you ask for a quote, we pass your request to an independent local HVAC technician. That technician sets the visit, gives you the diagnosis and price, and does the work. They are responsible for the job.
What This Site Is For
Most HVAC sites tell you very little. We wrote these pages to show how heating and cooling really work in Pueblo. That means condensers baking through July afternoons on the East Side. It means boilers and wall heaters in old homes near Union Avenue. It means furnaces set up for 4,692 feet. Each guide links to sources like NOAA, the EPA, the Department of Energy, ENERGY STAR, the building department and Black Hills Energy, so you can check the facts yourself.
What We Look For in a Technician
- A current mechanical contractor license for HVAC and gas work
- EPA Section 608 certification for refrigerant work
- A real diagnosis with readings before any part is changed
- The fix and price explained before work starts
- Permits pulled on equipment replacement
- Respect for your home and your schedule
Check Any Contractor's License
In Pueblo and Boone, licenses and permits run through the Pueblo Regional Building Department. It is moving to a new name, the Southern Colorado Building Department. Its FAQ says you can call 719 543 0002 to confirm a license is current. Pueblo West and other rural areas use the Pueblo County Building Division. Ask before anyone starts work.
How It Works
Send the quote form. A local technician reaches out to set a time and look at your system. You decide if you want to go ahead. Read our process for each step.
